Nanaimo Park - Planning Committee Meeting in Fieldhouse

At the beginning of May Tony Borean & myself (Mary McCann) met with Nanaimo Parks planner, Maintenance & Capital Plan Rep we discussed the plans for the new backstop at the lower diamond at Nanaimo Park. The diamond plans I have been told that will be like the new one at Carnarvon park on the west end of Vancouver city. This meeting like a lot of others this year took place at our fieldhouse.

This apparently will happen in the fall 2017. So I guess it means our bantam program teams will travel during this time frame as the field will have to be closed until spring 2018. But when it reopens it will be all brand new.
